When Artemis's Arrow first began exploring the realm of music in earnest, she was in a hospital, receiving treatment for anxiety and addiction recovery, tapping out beats into her phone and humming melodies into cheap headphones. Music was a catalyst that helped her survive the most challenging time of her life and guided her all the way through her 2 month hospitalization and back out into the real world.

All of her early work was first published on Loudly and Bandlab, two platforms that provided her with a rudimentary production skills and an incredible, kind, and supportive music community. After discharging from the hospital, 90 days sober, she released many albums onto Bandlab, with titles including Kaleidoscope, GIFTED, CHOTO, and Paint.

She later deleted these albums from public view, hoping to give herself a fresh start in music, much in the same way she was trying to get a fresh start in life.

After a year of creating music, Artemis's Arrow has decided to re-release the original works from Bandlab and Loudly that created the basis of her start in music. The Well is a collection of her favorite works from her days in the hospital, where strangers from across the world offered her guidance and mentorship as she re-built her identity. This collection primarily uses loops and samples from Bandlab and Mix Master Jam, as well as recorded samples and vocals of Artemis's Arrow's own making.

This collection is an homage to her earliest days in music. It is also a thank you to the communities of Bandlab and Loudly, and to the treatment team that saved her life during her time in the hospital.
